SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Council Of Homeless New Yorkers, COHONY, (an underground advocacy group of past and present homeless New Yorkers) is happy to announce the completion of its 2 yr undercover investigations of 5 homeless shelters in New York City in its quest to end the unabashed and open abuse, harassment and exploitation of homeless people from New York by service providers and organizations that Department of Homeless Service of New York, (DHS) had hired to operate the shelters on its behalf.
COHONY will make its report public in a few days and strongly hopes that the Attorney General of New York in association with New York City Department of Investigations and borough Presidents will study the reports and do their own investigations and that if they obtain the same findings like we did, will take appropriate actions to resolve the grievances.
